high lift low profile floor jack

What do all use for a floor jack? My race jack has let me down and I need a replacement pronto! It does not have the lift to get the car up on my ESSCO stands safely. I didn't really want to get lift bars and four new shorter stands....

I know there are a lot of options for all south of the border but up here it is harder to get specialized products. I am looking for low low profile with very high lift at least 20"

I like the Danish Compact ones but of course you cant get them easily in Canada.

I use this one:
Low Profile Floor Jack - 2 Ton, Rapid Pump® Jack

Goes up to 24" and I use lift bars.

Thanks that looks like the ticket but will they ship to Canada??

This might warrant a trip down into NY!

Have you checked Princess Auto? http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/Floor-transmission/3-1-2-Ton-Low-Profile-Floor-Jack/8002093.p

Really like the lift bars but not sure they would work well with flat top Jack stands ......I believe they have rounded sections to fit and rotate inside a jaw type of stand

No i haven't, I have a cheaper Canadian Tire model, but i don't think it has anywhere near 24" lift. Princess auto catalogue shows quite a few to choose from.

I picked that HF one (2T Low Profile) up for $82..... look for the Super Coupons in Autoweek, R&T, etc. They generally have better deals than the ones you receive via email.

I vote for the Harbor Freight race jack too!

I have only had mine since last Christmas but love it so far...friend has had a slightly larger one for years without issue. They seem to sell the exact same jack at TSC for about $130 under a different name.

If you have Costco's near you and have a membership they usually carry a version of an Arcan jack that is low profile, 2.5 to 3.5 ton capacity for around $100. I am on my second one in 20 years and have great luck with it.

I really like the AC high lift jack. A bit pricey but I have never regretted paying for quality tools.
