Another Question... storage compartment problem

I have a problem with my behind the seat storage compartment. One of the doors won't close. I have taken it out am trying to expose the door to find the blockage.

I have removed the star screws but it does not expose the door.

Here are two pics.

See the metal bar? There is an upper and lower bar reinforcing the opening. These bars are glued in place, but the glue ages hardens and loses grip, allowing the bar to shift just enough to catch on the sliding door.
If this is not your problem then IDK, but it should be discernible on inspection from below.
