High pitched squeal...help
 
Could it be the power steering pump? It squeal when the engine is running. No dash lights on yet. Turned on and odd re AC and no change in squeal.

accessory belt tensioner, or alternator bearing..?

Now smoke coming out of the right side exhaust pipe and sounds like a cylinder is missing, AOS?

Could be any of the mentioned above, the water pump, AOS or alternatively a loose spark plug.

Try removing the oil filler cap while the engine is running - if its difficult to remove (ie a strong vacuum), the chances are your AOS has gone.

It would be a good time to check for error codes if you have a scanner....
