2001 Boxster S Alarm

I just got a 2001 S, 10 days ago. Last week it was in the shop all week for a new clutch, coolant reservoir and IMS. Yesterday when driving it the shifter disconnected from the transmission so it was towed back to the shop.

Today, I went over to retrieve some items from the car. I used the spare key (without the buttons or the ability to disengage the alarm). The alarm went off and is continually going off. There is no one at the shop until tomorrow.

So will this thing go off continually until tomorrow morning? I tried searching but could not find anything. I cannot read my manual because it is in the car.

Thanks, John

My alarm randomly goes off sometimes without me knowing because I pulled it's horn but it will stop after a (long) period.
