I noticed a squeak tonight

While out with my lovely fiance on a date night we were driving with the top down, rare weather to have 65 degrees in August here. She has much better ears than i being many years younger than I....she said she heard a squeak from the passenger side at low speeds. I drove down an alley to get to a parking lot and with buildings on both sides I could hear it plainly , it is brief and high pitched and seem to be 1/2 the speed of the wheels or so......CV joint ??

I will get the car up next week and pull the back wheels and see what I can find.

Any help would be most helpful (Monty Python)

Thanks
Dwight

Bearings are more of a grind.

Brakes, CVs first things to check. I had pads that squeaked driving down the road.

The rear pads are the ones that came on the car 15 months ago, lots of wear left. I have a new set of "Red Stuff" to put on when these wear out. I was worried about water pump but it only makes the noise while moving at low speeds . At 70K I suppose the CV's could be bad

But only getting it up on jack stands and putting eyeballs on it will tell the true tale (I hope)
