Help with defogging headlight corner trim

Hey all. My headlight corner trim on pass side has condensation showing through, so needs to be removed, cleaned and then resealed? I can't find any instructions on what actually seals in these trim pieces to prevent moisture from getting in. Can anyone help? Want to make sure I have the right product here when I do it. Thanks!

I took mine apart as the glue holding them together was failing and they had water in them. Getting them off the headlight assembly was tricky, don't break the plastic tabs, and on mine there was a plastic spin rivet to be removed. I got them apart without damage, cleaned them, and used clear silicone adhesive to glue them back together. Go easy on the silicone, it does not take much.

I had my new (like a month old) clear corner trim fog up. I just drilled two small holes in the back side of it. One on the bottom and one in the back. If it does fog now, it clears up very quickly.

This works nicely! Took a few days for the water to slowly seep out - but a week later it's nice and clear with no water. Thanks for the idea. Two small holes was all it took.
