I am looking to buy a pair myself. I think they are the nicest tail lights you can get for the 986.

How can I forget that 'poser' shot lol

Those black trimmed TLs again, in a better showoff angle! Those are LED btw. Not as bright as the stockers TLs but they work - never been rear-ended (yet)

TLs were an eBay item at the time. I can't remember what shop but 100% sure these we picked up from a eBay seller (made in Taiwan). Could be wrong

Bumper is from eCarboy in HK.

Talk to Kenny.... pretty switched-on dude and knows his stuff. He also does custom work upon request (request a thin FB made bumper, light, its magic!). He ships to US for cheap

pass my rgs if anyone talks to him

Anybody going with these TLs also needs to ensure their clam's brake light is functioning correctly.

Again, these are LEDs and aren't as bright as the stock TLs. They are the best looking ones tho lol

They look 90's. I want a modern version that includes a solid LED line. Wish someone here would conjure something up....Get rid of the boxed sections and just have lit lines. The turn signal could be one solid line inside the trapezoid- shaped marker and brake.

90's yea I guess you could say

Funny you mention I am looking at outsourcing custom work of a taillight design to this guy Sam out of Japan. For both the 986s and 996. 996 guys are also dying for a refreshed model so might as well do both at the same time. The guy does pretty wicked acrylics, fiber optics and other LED works.

Not that we would want to have chasing led (lol), but below ytube gives you a good idea of what we are dealing with here:

Sam's work:

Into this:

Anything materializing in the coming weeks I'll post! You know me
