Sticky dash Hey all. PO had mounted a gopro cam on the dash. When he took it off, it left a very sticky mess. Suggestions on getting that off without damage to the dash? Goo gone is rumoured to be too strong? Thanks |

Try WD40. It usually takes off gooey residue, and isn't too aggressive . |

Yep. I use WD-40 to clean up all of my sticky messes... |

Wow. Epic. Well done Sir. |

Wd 40 I do not like this stuff, it is a water displacing product (Its where the WD comes from), Turtle Wax makes a good Adhesive remover TURTLE WAX® RENEW RX It works well and will not attack your dash, I would use Goo Gone before WD40...WD40 smells terrible. |

Could always use a potato |

Acetone, no? works on my wife...dunno Leather coloring is what needs care I think. Try water and soap before anything else (leather products, aloes?) |

Creamy peanui butter.Don't laugh until you have tried it. |

I use baby oil to break adhesion with sticky stuff, and it will smell good afterwards if you use the scented kind ;) Now don't go telling me about how baby oil is made, I don't want nightmares. I only buy the the stuff that says "no babies were harmed in the manufacturing of this product":D |

Goo Gone works for me as it's citrus-based. I think Goof Off is the one to avoid as it's harsh. |
