A little bit of a difference

JayG 07-23-2014 09:06 AM

WOW!!!

Did you repaint them or just clean them?

oc-boxster 07-23-2014 09:15 AM

My Indy mechanic sent them out to be repainted then they were put back together with new pads and decals

Here's mine

How much did you pay? Hopefully not too much. I decided to repaint mine a couple of weeks ago. VHT red caliper paint, VHT clear coat, VHT Caliper cleaner, stainless steel brush, sandpaper, decals from ebay, and a few days.

They charged me 120.00 a caliper. I figured that wasn't too bad so I just had them do it while it was there

pparkc2020 07-23-2014 10:18 PM

Not too bad. The red is nice though isn't it?!

Yes! Best thing I've done cosmetically
So far. Wheels are next-any suggestions?

I like these new magnus walker wheels by 1552. Fitment for boxster for the low low price of 950.00 per wheel.

That would be awesome on a boxster!

I just repainted one on my 996tt with brush on paint and dont feel it came out smooth enough. It came out fine from a few feet away but its definitely not perfect. I may ask my indie to do this when i take my car in.
