General question

On old rear wheel drive cars there was a rear end pumpkin.
In the Porsche does the transmission replace the rear end.
If so there is no rear end fluid to change. It would be the
Transmission fluid that you would change. Correct.

Thanks all,

It's a transaxle. The differential is in the center of the box or the front if you don't count the bell. Manuals share the same oil throughout. Automatics have two different oils. the Differential has gear oil, and the transmission use different oils.

That was a good question Jinx and another reason to buy a manual.

One less oil to check and fill.
