Road trip - Montreal to Chapel Hill, NC
 

Hi all,

I'm going on a road trip to Chapel Hill, NC, friday next week.
I'll stop in Connecticut friday night to visit relatives and then down to NC.

I wonder if any of you have info on nice roads along the way or around Chapel Hill.

I'll stay in Chapel Hill sunday to wednesday, then off to Virginia Beach before going back to Montreal the following week-end.

I'd love to go for rides and discover that part of the US. Any pointers appreciated!

Weaver Dairy - and stop at the dairy for some ice cream. The local PCA has done a drive on it.

There is also hwy 751 - off of I40 towards Lake Jordan.

I like to drive around Falls Lake - a road called Weaver Trail.

None of them are fun during rush hours.
