Foot well LED lighting

Hi.

I searched this board but found very little info on this topic. Please forgive if my efforts were insufficient.

Has anyone setup LED foot well lights tapping into wiring under the dash instead of running the wires from the map light?

Thank you.

Have a look at Pimp My Ride

Imo this one is one of my favorite LED mod along with member Particlewave's interior/dash LED retrofit. These guys would be able to advise you on the tapping thing.

Would below, the location of the LEDs, be a sufficient light output to fill the footwell? I think this is a great mod... added safety included, nobody is going to run over him when hew gets out of his car. brilliant!
