Thumbs up I raise my glass to you!

I'm newer to this forum, been lurking for a little while. Pulled the trigger about six months ago and purchased a 2002 986 triptronic w/ 79k on it. I love the car! I've owned several roadsters in the past, this is my first Porsche. I have previously owned a Fiat spider & X19, Mazda Miata, BMW Z3.
The first six months have been interesting! My first project was a coolant leak in the trunk, I changed the coolant expansion tank, that was a lot of fun! Then a few months ago, replaced the CPS. This afternoon I replaced my fuel pump. Thanks to this form and some other google searches I was able to do all these repairs myself. I'm sure I've saved a few bucks doing my own wrenching. I guess I would say I get personal satisfaction doing the stuff myself.
I would like to thank all the contributors that have shared all the wealth of information in this forum!

Welcome to the forum. The mantra here is "without pics, it didn't happen." Post some photos of the car!
