Does anyone have any experience with repainting part of their car with the scratch wizard kit??

I got a few scratches on my rear bumper, needing to be removed. Can i trust this??

My car color is Lapis Blue Metallic if that changes anything.

This is a great idea if you want your Porsche to look like s$@t!

You need someone who can shoot and a booth. I don't think you could get away with this even with a flat color like white.

Take it from someone who has done a DIY bumper spot repair/re-spray; take it to a pro ;)

It can be done, and can even come out very nicely, but the amount of time, money, materials and space needed don't justify a DIY.

I'll just bring it to the shop then... lol

Check the link below. I didn't use the kit that you linked, but I used factory matched paint from automotivetouchup.com and it turned out pretty nice.
It was a lot of work spread out over about 10 days, though. Knowing what I know now, I would've had someone else do it if I could have had it done for less than $500-$600.

Rattle can painting can turn out very pretty if you wet sand and then compound and polish. But the paint is very soft and doesn't last very long. After a year or so it will start to fade.

If you rattle can, don't buy the stuff from the Internet. Go to a good paint supplier, they will read your paint, which I guarantee you has changed, and match it perfectly and put it in a rattle can for you for the Internet price.
