Door speakers stopped working

Hello All,

I have an 03 box base (not bose)... The door speakers suddently stopped working yesterday. Playing with faders and balancer did not help.

Weird thing is that they will come on breifly when I turn the car on... I checked the connector to the amp in frunk but no cigar...

I'll try to pop the head unit out to see if there is anything.. But other than that I don't know what to do? Is there a fuse I can check?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about the 986, but 987's are known for Amp failures (to the door base speakers).

that's not good! Do you think if I took a voltimeter to the amp I could see if the amp is the point of failure? Anyone know which ports I should test?
