Vent Removal Question

I am having a problem removing the air vent on my drivers side.

I followed the Bentley instructions.

Removed headlamp switch,
Removed two screws,
Removed the locking nut to the headlamp switch.
The vent won't come off.

What am I missing?

The locking nut on the switch has nothing to do with getting it off. The unit has a clip that holds it in place, it take some determination but it will come off.

I think there are 3 screws to getting the driver side vent off; 2 on the left side and one hidden under the headlight switch knob.

Is there an easy spot to get to?

Where do I begin to pry or pull on the vent cover?

I will not remove the locking nut this time.

I just did this

Yes 3 screws, two on the left side by the door and one under the knob for the light switch...do you have all three of those off or out ?

I removed just the two screws. I will poke my head under there and get to the last screw.

Thanks

Okay, I got to the third screw out and was able to remove the assembly. The assembly is in there quite snug.
