Some real exhaust kit for the 986 2.5
Let me know if you are into these kinda sport car sounds or tired of the traditional stainless steel.
One of my business partner is walking distance from SKILL-S ( http://skill-s.com) and I'm thinking of getting one made for my 2.5. Got remote activated valves, half titanium made, shinny shinnystuff.
While at it... anyone else??? Not for the faint of heart

PM sent on the price (IMPORTANT NOTE: sit on a chair before reading lol)
It is in reality the Ultimate Exhaust System for 986. 100% Titanium & custom made. The screaming you heard in that vid is no Hollywood... I've heard it in person and it's brutal.
Those familiar with full titanium exhaust systems knows what I mean... sounds exactly like a supercar when that sport valve is open to MAX (the 2.5 does anyway). That TI resonance is NO match to anything else I've heard of. Nasty

I'm off to JP on the 31st to catch my wife's friend New Year party so I'll try to schedule a visit with the skill team during that weekend. I'll take a few shots and get a price nailed down for a few sets to be made
Not cheap but then who cares when it comes to that level goodies. Not for the ordinary Porsche Boxster/owner for sure lol

Think they do performance exhausts for Ford Fiesta also but you want the 986 full valve-system in TI apparently +/-4,000$. Nice little shop

Looks cool and titanium is real light stuff. I'm planning on putting electric bypass valves on each of my bypass pipes. They have variable openings including a favorite in memory. Will add weight but the valves were under $300 each. Add a Y cut-off pipe on each side and weld. With the stock muffler in place I'll be able to have stock DB to wide open fully uncorked and anywhere in between. Not pretty but cheap(er).

Yea that country is pretty wicked The mind blowing performance stuff you get to see there mate... its often frustrating. Gives you the impression we (in CA anyway) are 15 years behind everything lol
Woodmans - they achieve that unique sound by using superbike GP sized mufflers - those that are valved anyway. They are something like 100mm OD * 80mm ID, race packing, 200mm long. The shorter those mufflers are the louder basically (fast pulse, low back pressure). The TI freq doesn't help also. It's evil LOL
If you can fabricate custom mufflers to connect to your Y pipes I think you 'be quite close to a similar sound. Can't be that expansive.... lots of guys does custom muffler jobs around CA & US

Cool, but lets face it, Ti on a street car is just expensive bling, especially with electric valves added, negating any weight savings ? Stainless would sound exactly the same as Titanium, and mandrel bent tubing flows better than a pieced-together system. It is pretty though, so if you have the money....
Sorry, carry on.
