Please help with part# and source.
 

I'm in the process of replacing the top on my 2000 Box with a glass window version.
The rubber weather strip that goes around the rear bow is split and I need a replacement as mine has split.

The strip is NOT the large rubber seal at the very bottom seal that is visible as you raise or lower the top. I've looked at parts diagrams and cannot identify the piece that I need to replace.

Any help is appreciated!

That piece is considered part of the top's frame and is not sold separately.
You may have to source it from a dismantler.
I just had the same issue with a customer's top and I had to purchase a complete frame in order to get that piece.

Thanks Pedro. I was afraid of that! What's really bad is that I have replaced the top and frame on two other Boxsters in the last few years and ended up throwing away the old top and frame because no on had any interest in it.
If I'd only known....
