2001 Boxster S- I bought it from my cousin (who bought it brand new) with 36,978miles and a spun rod bearing.
I have since installed a new engine, IMS, RMS, brakes, tires, redyed the interior, repainted the car, and on and on and on
Here it is on its maiden voyage this spring after the new engine!
Oh and now it has 39k on it!

2000 base 5 speed with 33.5 k on it. Black with beige. Had it 2 months and 1.000 miles. Nothing has blown up so far. This is my third Porsche, the last one was forty years ago.

Johnny What did Teddyonline win?
I believe you are technically correct - It is Skyline drive but I think it's still part of Blue Ridge Parkway. I'm no expert here being from Jersey (We only know where we are by exits on the NJ Turnpike)
Did the Parkway's 450 mile from Cherokee the day before in rain, fog(Lots of fog) and rare bits of sun. A true adventure
I want to go back so bad.
You lucky guys with this in your back yards. 35/45 mph speed limits - screw that I let it rip. Suppose I was lucky no one was patrol those days

I have 69K on the clock, nothing but brakes, oil and tires so far. I have had it just over a year and put 5K miles on it so far.

I grew up with the Parkway literally in my backyard: at night when the leaves were off the trees we could see headlights going across the ridges 2500 feet above our house. My folks still live at the base of those mountains and last year I took the Boxster for a visit. Took my Dad; who is now 80, along the Parkway for a couple hours. He smiled the entire ride!

1999 Boxster, purchased last August with 57,500 miles on it. Last week it clocked over 75,000. PO put a new engine in at 37,000 miles in 2008. Drives like a dream.

1998 with 116K on it. Purchased last winter. Currently in the midst of Clutch, IMS, RMS, Exhaust and Brakes. Then it's off for Paint. It will be Riviera Blue when done, and off to the 200K mark.
Great cars are meant to be driven.....
