Installed hardtop

I picked up a hardtop recently and decided to fit it up to see what it would look like . Installed the crazy overpriced spin locks and drop it on . changes the whole look and feel of the car . It will be nice when the drop top weather ends.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1403733927.jpg

Is it poly? How's the fitment?

Very nice! Love it!

Love the look. Got a hardtop for mine for the Phoenix summer. I get tons of compliments on the car. It definitely gives it a different look.

I am ready to get my hard top out again and install it on the car. I am really glad to have it. The summers in Texas are too brutal for top down weather. We are really close to normal temps for this time of year and that makes for pretty good late afternoon, evening top down driving, for now.

Looks great. But man have those things gotten pricey. 996 Cab owners were getting them for peanuts (like a couple hundred bucks).
Must be the racing guys pumping up demand.

I can get one for the 996 for like 300 bucks , these usually go for 1000 to 1500 . it was nice to bag one in the correct color and for short money , makes it that much sweeter . Now if I can just find a pair of factory side skirts I will be in boxster heaven .

The hardtop does change the looks.I get lots of looks and comments on mine.i take mine off when the temp comes up to 50 and back on when the temps drop back down to 50.I built my own hoist and harness for removal and installation and my own storage rack on wheels so I can move it around in the garage.
