Favor to ask if you have an SK synchrometer

If you have one of these synchrometers and a 986 Boxster S....could you put it on the oil filler while the car is running and tell me what the flow rate is? Curious for diagnosing my AOS.

Thanks!

Not what you need to diagnose an AOS; the system should be pulling around 5 inches of water vacuum if the AOS is in good shape, if it is over 7-10 inches of water, the AOS is toast. Note that the measurements are in inches of water, not mercury like most vacuum test equipment.

I had read airflow increases too. But definitely trying to find a pressure gauge and figure out a way to measure without cutting a hole into my oil cap.

Of course air flow would increase with rising vacuum; but there is no spec for what the flow rate should be, while there is a maximum vacuum level...........
