I cleaned my top with Dawn dishwashing soap to get the bird crap off, then nailed it with 2 cans of Scotchguard from WalMart. Looks great and water still beads after relentless rain and a tropical storm. I did this because the inside of the car would get damp after rain, now it's dry as a bone after loads of rain off Galveston bay.
