Can anyone run a VIN for me for options list?
1999 Boxster
WP0CA2984XU624417 Can anybody run this and figure out the option list? The one site I have can't find the car. (Not uncommon for the site- it doesn't pull up Boxsters I own, so I know I'm listing a good VIN) I talked to the dealer and the option list is missing from the frunk, so no luck there. Thanks! Rick |
You may be able to order a new build sticker through the dealer. I can check to see if there is an associated part number for it.
Also, I think the "certificate of authenticity" through PCNA may have options listed. |

try this website
https://admin.porschedealer.com/reports/build_sheets/ it lists Porsches built with their original options and price you can enter your VIN or look at the entire build for a year and model I ran yours and there was nothing listed, sorry. It must not have all builds This is what I got when I printed mine http://s25.postimg.org/4tzvsv9wv/build_sheet.jpg |
That's the site I have. Same results.
Thanks for the try! Rick |
you must have a counterfeit car
LOL |
That site only works for about 25% from what I've read. Mine doesn't come up, but I have all of the original documentation anyway (even the window sticker) ;)

Worked for mine. Interestingly my triple black was delivered with Savanna beige floor mats. WTF?

It really annoys me that when you go to buy a part Porsche insists that you provide a vin number as they say this will list all details of that particular car. Try giving the vin and ask Porsche if the vehicle has a single or double IMS bearing and they are unable to tell you. You can't tell me that they did not keep a record of what bearing was used in a particular vehicle.
In this respect Porsche are acting most unethically. So glad you guys in the states took action against them !! |
