Rear break wear

My drivers side rear break pads were right at the wear sensor notch, but the rear passenger side pads had a fraction more to go before reaching the wear notch. I just replaced them and did not notice any obvious differences between the two calipers.
Is this okay?

Short answer yes

Longer answer... of course and don't let anyone tell you that the calipers need rebuilding...

Yes, it is normal for one side to wear slightly more than the other. I have no idea why this happens but its not an issue.

Maybe the same reason in the US and countries with LHD the right rear tires wear slightly faster due to the tighter radius of right turns vs left turns? Maybe the opposite factor for the brakes? Maybe the driver side works slightly harder since that wheel has different load? The brakes need to work harder since that wheel isn't scrubbing?

Or maybe there is more weight on the driver's side?

Or... maybe your calipers need rebuilding :) J/K

These are crazy crackpot theories, I have no idea :)
