Hello. Just got my new to me '98 Boxster with 129000 kms. It has a new LN IMS, RMS, water pump, ignition, seatbelts O2 sensors and flywheel. Thx to this site for buying tips which allowed me to negotiate a good price from the dealer to accommodate all this work. Not just a base, but a very lightweight Boxster for the series. the engine mates well with the gear box, better than some later Boxsters.
Now that the car is mechanically sound, time to take it to your local Porsche club for a few autocross events and all that other stuff they do.

Is that zanzabar red? what a great color, and your car looks in great condition for the mileage. Sounds like you brought home a solid car! Mine was totaled by someone else today in a parking lot of all things, already craving to be behind the wheel again. Happy motoring.

Welcome to the forum sy. Just got back from Victoria and saw very few P cars enroute. Nice colour Boxster. It is better than my wash me all the time black 2001 Box base.Cheers. Guy :)
