show me pics of front bumpers

To my eye my 2002 S standard front bumper looks a little bland. I believe front bumper covers from 996 from 1999 - 2001 will fit is that correct ? Is there a OEM 986/996 front bumper cover that looks a little sportier ? And then what about aftermarket ? GT2 styling seems nice but what else ? Any pics in arctic silver a plus. With my soon to be installed headlights ( thanks particlwave/Fred ) it might be time for a front end makeover.

I think you'll be surprised at how much different the headlights will make the whole front end look

That said, the aerokit 1 is a pretty slick OEM look (check out Tommy's).

I've never actually posted a picture of my car here, so I'm overdue. I'll try to get a pic for this thread. i have a 2002 lapis blue s. After having my radiators cleaned and having the mechanic show me half of a box of debris, I ordered a set of the black zunsport grills. I have to say, I love the way that they make the front bumper look!

Here's the front end of the factory Aerokit II. As far as I can tell, it's a 996 bumper cover. I've seen the same one on a local GT3.

Another idea.

Like Charles said, wait until you get your headlights. The 986's front-end looks completely/shockingly updated with those CGT style headlights in there.

So these grilles fit the stock S front bumper openings ? All three openings or just the side two ? Do you have part numbers or a link ? Picture would be great. Thanks

I do like that 996 GT3 style front bumper a little more aggressive look without looking rice ( no offense ) . I'm just thinking ahead I will install the new lights and go from there. Thanks guys.

That is the OEM '03 front bumper. I plasti dipped the horizontal intakes and those are the Aerokit 1 side skirts.

OK I just did a search on zunsport grilles..........woof I want ! Very nice addition to the front end. So now the decision, on a arctic silver car go with black grilles to stand out against the silver or go with the polished and blend in a little more ? Thinking about adding the GT3 Tek lower lip spoiler which would be black. So many decisions so little cash

I looked at the Zunsport grills but were a bit more than I wanted to spend. Mine are a bit less expensive and I like the look of the mesh behind the grills.
