did u do the factory tour? I was there in mid january -- pretty cool.

And yea, seeing so many P-cars at one time was, well, lets just say it takes your breath away!

Can u buy a Porsche directly from the factory? If yes, will they charge you msrp?

Yeah you can....there were some american guys there who had deicided to take deliver of their car from Stuttgart. They got an "extra special" tour. Not sure what the "extra" part was though. I'm sure some one can fill you in on exactly what the procedure is???? I don't think it would be cheaper though.

I forgot to write in my initial thread, that when i was leaving, i saw these kids (looked like work experience kids) poping the hood to jump start these brand new porsches (911's). They then revved the ******************** out of them to "warm" them up (bout 30 seconds).....then raced each other down the four or so blocks to the truck parking area. They were going sideways in these brand new cars!!! Why couldn't i get work experience like that!!!
