Installed a new GAHH top, blue on blue

I had a new GAHH top installed on my box over the weekend and thought I'd share the pic.

I was looking all over the web for a blue boxster with blue GAHH top and didn't really come up with anything.

Let me know what you guys think. :)

Looks great, but use lots of RaggTopp, otherwise it will turn purple.

I have one!

I have the same color combo. I also have the metropole blue interior! Somewhat rare but we are out there. Love the new top. I am looking to do the same upgrade soon.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1398118749.jpg

Beautiful color combo! How much was the new top installed? I have a silver 2000S with Metropole blue top and interior...

Thanks! The top was $641 shipped to Hawaii and my local installer charged $450 for the labor (remove and reinstall). Total: $1091. They hooked up the rear defroster for me as well, which is a matter of plugging in the wire.

I assume the top frame is the 3 bow. How well does the top go up/down with the glass window ? What about the service position ?

Incredible!

Is that Lapis? I've been working with Lapis 3A8 over the last few days and got to say that I'm loving it.

Wow - agree with everyone...looks amazing!

My top is still in great shape. The plastic window is starting to show some age, so thanks for posting a great option for future replacement.

My car is Ocean Blue and the top is Metropol Blue.

Yes, the frame is the pre-2003/2004 facelift. I can't comment on the function just yet as I had it done this past weekend and I have to leave it closed for a few days to let the fabric stretch. I'll probably give it a shot when I get back from vacation in a couple weeks. I don't want any hassles before I leave. I will be sure to report back.

Mine is ocean blue but it doesn't look like that... I guess I am past time for the car wash and some wax and polish :)
