Playing Music from iPhone5 on 2009 Boxster PCM
I have been trying to play music from iPhone 5 on my 2009 Boxster.
Connected the phone to the USB port and the PCM does not recognize the iPhone as a USB device. However, plugged in a USB Flash Drive and it picks right up. Heard somewhere that one can assign AUX to the Phone and play over Bluetooth. Aux does not show up as Source. Any clues? |
Do you have the universal audio interface with the y cable for iPhone 4?
If yes you could use a Tune2Air WMA 1000 to stream via Bluetooth |
No. Looks like the previous owner did not care much for it and I did not get one.
Also it looks like the USB merely charges my iPhone and does not transfer data. Although my iPhone asks me if I can trust the device (in this case PCM 3). Is there a y cable for iPhone 5? |
