Performance Exhaust or ECU with V-FLow

I have a 2000 Porsche Boxster 2.7 and looking to start off with an inexpensive HP upgrade along with a more aggressive (not race stock) sound.

I was looking at the Fabspeed MaxFlo Exhaust system, the Borla Catback Exhaust (I have read the drone can be deafening in this however) or doing a EVOMSit Engine Software Performance Upgrade with a high flow intake and a BMC f-1 filter.

The ECU/HighFlow/Filter option is around $1400 with shipping (i realize this will not create a more aggressive sound) and the Maxflo is about $1700 with shipping.

I also looked at Porsche Boxster 986 NHP Exhaust Muffler V2 - Maxspeed-Motorsports

Or the Fister Muffler which seems to be more for sound and not performance.

Anyone have experience with the former or the latter?
