Anyone have this shift knob?

Thinking about getting this shift knob. Anyone else have it?

Rennline Aluminum Shift Knob - Porsche-Rennline, Inc.

While having no experience with this particular model, I did have an aluminum shift knob on a previous car. It served as a very effective heatsink, and would get scorching hot after my car sat in a parking lot during a typical Texas summer afternoon. It would get so hot, it was actually painful to shift gears.

Just sayin'..............

Had one very similar in my old TT, didn't have the heat problems up north here in Chi-town.
I liked it a lot, and have been considering getting that knob myself...

There's no writing on it. How would you know what gear you were in?

Forward is always upshift and backward is downshift.
