Roof conversion b pillar microswitch problem

Hi guys I've recently just fitted an 03 boxster roof with glass screen to my 97 car is there anyway to activate the b pillar microswitch without doin the transmission conversion??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

B Pillar Microswitch

Hi, I’ve just fitted an OEM Porsche roof with glass window to my 1998 boxster and noticed that the b pillar microswitch that i transferred across from my old roof to replacement doesn’t get activated by anything.

Did you ever find a solution for the same problem in your post from 2013?
