Transaxle Removal / Slave Cylinder Question
I am getting ready to remove my 6 speed transaxle for a Pedro's DOF installation. I have read through the Pelican instructions on transaxle removal, but I'm a little unclear on the slave cylinder. Is it possible to just remove the cylinder from the tranny and leave it connected to the fluid line? I would like to avoid bleeding the clutch, if at all possible.

Absolutely. It is held in with one bolt. Just unbolt it and hang it from something. No need to bleed or remove anything.

Just don't let anybody push the clutch pedal in, otherwise the piston will end up on the other side of the garage......

Is there an alternative to the $25 a tube Olistra Longtime 3 EP grease for the input shaft?
