Statement made at Tech Tactics - Porsche accounts for 1.7% of VW Corporate sales and 26.7% of corporate profits. Sounds like VW knows who is paying the bills. Macan sales are expected to equal Cayenne sales. Cayenne accounts for 50% of Porsche sales (by volume) so that means Porsche car sales should increase 50% this year.

Porsche NA had already sold 12,000 Macans as of beginning of March. If you haven't reserved/ordered you will not be getting one soon.

Porsche profits from Cayennes and now Macan allow them to develop/build Turbos and GT3s and cover racing costs. They can bring more SUVs out if it allows them to do the others as far as I am concerned.
