It's the way these clutches work, the more they wear the harder to depress....be happy...congrats on a good deal

For the non-S base 986, the LUK 20-016 clutch kit contains a Sachs clutch disc and pressure plate. I got mine for $300 shipped from RockAuto. Check to see about fitment for a S car for those reading this thread.

IIRC LUK is OEM for Porsche for the dual mass flywheel anyway.

The garage is Second Gear in the Pocono's, PA. They have a great reputation and he has quoted me a price of $1300.00 plus the trans service. Seems like a great price to me based on some of the prices I've seen quoted here.

Where in the Pocono's is this shop located? I am originally from W-B, PA and visited Pocono Pines area as we had relatives there. Usually come over I-84 when visiting the valley.
