Boxster with a BMW v12...kinda

Lamborghini Replica for sale

Apparently this is a common kitcar approach. I can't imagine the nightmare this would be. I just want a v8 kit!

People hate those things but I still admire the craftsmanship.

Besides, as a friend used to say, finally buying a Lamborghini and not getting a V12 is like dating a playboy bunny after she had the implants removed.

I'd be afraid to sit on seats made out of a distressed Swede.

I never got this.... why would you build a replica supercar that anyone who gets within 5 ft will be able to spot as a fake?

A lot of them aren't even remotely fast, sort of like asking for someone to call you out for posing...

I love this kind of ad;

1. the car is 95 percent done just need the engine reinstall - Re-installing a BMW V12 into a Porsche Boxster chassis with a custom Lambo body is probably not the final 5% of the job.

2. Interior in distressed swede - Hmm. I think he meant distressed suede vs someone very upset from Stockholm.

3. real Lamborghini wheels, tail lights, and grill - the only really valuable parts on the car.

Asking $40k seems laughable. Plus it appears to be a tiptronic.

Seats designed by an orthopedic surgeon..... wow what a tagline.... honestly though the exterior looks better than i expected... I hate the idea of a kit but respect the craftsmanship at the least.

It seems that people start these projects without thinking through the costs and man hours.
Then they hope some Chinese billionaire with mental impairment sees the listing online.

That would be Tiger Woods' ex - Elin Nordegren:

But she's all right now, so I've heard......

I do like how he says "reinstall the engine". To me meaning it has already been in the car and hooked up and all good but, is now out of it. When jn reality I wonder if he is selling the car because it wont work.

I thought the same at first, but then realized if that was the case then the owner would have simply re-installed the engine - right? There has to be more to the story (and typically in a case like this, there is much, much, much more....)
