Have just purchased a 2000 Boxster S

Vin. Code for paint and trim are L92U. X1

Is L92U the code for Arctic Silver and X1 the code for Savannah Beige ?

Cheers

Chas...

Arctic Silver = L92U

I think SD = Savannah Beige but could be wrong....

Trim colour

Thanks Steve.
Hope we can get an answer to the trim X1

Bringing the car back from Melbourne on Wednesday. Seats need a bit of love and care
Will investigate Leatherique options. Are you a member of PCQ?
Cheers

X1 is also a code for Arctic Silver Metallic. Optional paint for $805.

Savannah Beige standard interior in leatherette with partial leather seats is SJ.
Savannah Beige in optional leather interior ($1,990) is SM.

Trim colour code

Thanks Chuck. The Boxster I purchased is Article silver for sure and the trim looks beige but before I order a dye to touch up some areas I would rather like to know the colour name of the leather.
The Vin listing under (4 ) Paint code/interior trim is :
L92U X1. Car has full leather with soft leather option (M982)
Seems a rather confusing system Porsche has from what I can gather for option listings.
Cheers

Are you driving back from Melbourne? Its nearly a 2,000km trip, but it should be a good 2 day "getting to know you" drive if the weather's not too hot...

Yes, been a member of PCQ for a few years now.

Concerning your codes, if you log on and join < RennTech.org Forums > and search paint options, you will get some answers. Chuck was correct, the X1 is part of your Arctic Silver paint code and it looks like the VIN sticker does not include the interior details.

Thanks Guys. Looks like I will need to send off a sample to get a colour match.
Presently having nightmares about IMSBs and the wisdom in purchasing a Boxster !
Might get bearing replaced with a LN ceramic when I get it home.
Who does your spanner work Steve ? I have used T&D previously for my S2
Cheers
