I've done it, I order a 981!

Yes I did it yesterday. Since the first time I saw it, I'm in love with the 981 Boxster.

So yesterday I put down a deposit and order a brand new saphire blue metalic 981 with full leather in beige luxor. The wait will kill me, ETA is june 27.

Now I'm trying to sell the 986 S as soon as possible for a bigger cash down, otherwise I'm sure I'm gonna change my mind and keep it as the winter beater :-)

Just so happy I had to vent!

Later all

Congratulations! I would do the same (Cayman)but it would compromise my retirement nestegg. I am sure you will sell your Box S no problem especially this time of year.

Of course pics when you get it. What options are you getting?

Congrats.

I wonder if you have mods planned already for the 981.

Modding the Boxster is a bit of an addiction.

Put some of your 986 S pics up with a price, many folks look for the "S" so it should sell quickly.

Do you have any parts for sale for the 986?
Extra Wheel rims?

Congratulations, the 981 is by far the best Boxster made yet, they have a beautiful black Boxster S at the Porsche dealer near me. the only thing it's stopping me from getting it is the $86,000 sticker price on it.

Congrats! That's a great color and a GREAT Porsche. You only have a 4 month wait. I've been waiting for my new C2S Cab since September 1st. My delivery is late March.

Congrats wawa!

I would keep the 986. It would give you great driving impressions of both cars (assuming they are very different, haven't driven a 981 yet). Best of both worlds!
