Car Capsule for winter storage
 
Just happened across this, looks pretty cool. Anyone ever use one? Could be the hot ticket for keeping the mice out of the wiring.

Ummmmm........I would not bet on that. The little critters are insidious, and will get in to one of these, and the outdoor unit will not stand up to the weight of heavy snows like we got this year.

It will if we take out that silly little fan and hook it up to the compressor! :D

Seriously though, I don't think I'd use the outside unit. Like you said, I don't see it being viable in our climate. I do think it would be a way of protecting the car from bumps and scrapes while its parked in the garage over the winter, and it would definitely stay cleaner.
