wtf is wrong with my box!
so i have had this p0452 problem on my box for awhile.. i paid way to much to get it "fixed" and its not. european shop replaced all 02 sensors brand new. and the evap emissions sensor(p0452). but the problem now is the light still on.. i took it back and made them look at all the wireing make sure no rats got to it cuz i read something like that on forums. they also checked the sensor to make sure wasnt busted and its not.. the guy mentiond something about having the car "flashed" cuz the brain might have a blown fuze to and from the sensor? idk something like that.. any help or ideas?? wat do i do to get this light off.. the car runs great, i just cant understand the light.. if this helps, i had gotten the brain replaced wen i first got the car (3 years ago) cuz of water damage.

Is your gas cap gasket cracked or worn?
Oh man, you're gonna be some pissed if it turns out to be a bad gas cap, huh? |
yea i had them smoke the car for leaks and they everything is chill, no leaks.. still gas cap you think?? ..

It is a known issue that a worn or damaged gas cap issue can cause problems. I don't recall the code it throws off the top of my head but do a forum search for "gas cap" - it's in here somewhere.

With a car that has had water damage, wiring and sensor connections are suspects.
I would check the connections to the evap sensors. On a Jeep Wrangler I had a similar code and sure enough it was the rubber seal on the gas cap had developed cracks. |
