You can also get a "Turbo" emblem you can stick on next to the "Boxster" emblem on the trunk.

Just sayin'...........

Paint them instead and use the 'PORSCHE' sticker.

It probably wouldn't hurt anything, but could cause problems if it ever came off, I wouldn't want something like that bouncing around the wheel well at 80 MPH.

Since you have to take the wheels off anyway to install it, I agree with BruceH just paint your existing ones. Also, I am going to quote an architect friend of mine: "Truth in materials."

Do a search! I think this has been the subject of numerous posts. ;-)

I'm going to say what a lot of Porsche enthusiasts are thinking... your driving an authentic Porsche, no need to cheapen it with fake out parts.
Its not a Honda Accordion:rolleyes:

However, if you like stickers, paint your calipers and put a sticker on them. You wont win Concours but those that are clueless will not know the difference.

Sorry if it sounds a little critical, but this IS an enthusiasts forum so we tend to be more purist that way.

What styling he wants to do, its the owners desire....
Read about downside of these caliper cover is not getting enough cold air when braking....but then it depend of what driving style.

Caution: The fake Brembo brake covers are prone to flying off at "light speed".

doragman 02-16-2014 05:59 PM

wow.......

The fake chromed plastic stick on air vents are on sale at Walmart and would look great on the doors. At the new low price you can put on two per door.

I thought Boxsters come with Brembo's from the factory?

ChrisZang 02-17-2014 09:16 AM

this johney dude is starting to get annoying:

a) always posts with complete disregard to grammar and punctuation rules (it's painful to decipher what he writes)
b) his questions are pretty much always something, no self-respecting Boxster owner would even contemplate, let alone do
c) all his posts end with the statement that he's really to busy to be bothered to check if anyone was nice enough to reply to his post, but we suckers are allowed to send him e-mail, (and last not least to an AOL (!!!) account)

Anybody else feel the same?

Nine8Six 02-17-2014 09:21 AM

^ I do, but still got to share ;)

I actually have those, they are a brilliant kit. I've installed two on my garage's refrigerator doors... best looking door handles in - the - world

op - got two left here with me if you want them (red).... maybe you can fake brake drums for the back wheels with some bottle bottom of some sort and call it a mod dunno

There ya go... that's how its done OP

Those ones actually are made of something harder than plastic... and the kit comes with some superdooper floating rotors made out of (xGrade) top aluminum. Other features: the cast-iron is so low grade they glow hot-red with little or no efforts. Wow right there. Looks cool and cheap cheap!

Couldn't agree more. This kid is obviously a fkn idiot and the best thing we could do is ignore him in the hope that he will just go away.

For a guy with no time to check the forum for responses, he sure seems to have lots of time to make stupid posts.

Jamesp 02-17-2014 12:16 PM

Perhaps we're being :troll: by another forum member. A spirited conversation nonetheless. Maybe I'll set up an account as Boxster Bubba and start asking questions about off road mods, lift kits, and knobby tires. Yee haw Y'all! Watch this!

Is the CN produced stuff THAT substandard?

Lord knows I've "made entry" on tons of CN goods, but most of it was non-critical disposable or promotional goods.

Just wonderin'.........
