Loose Shifter

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you guys' short shifters, or stock shifters wiggle a little? I got my car with a short shifter installed already, and after a couple months, it broke. I took it apart and found that the bolt that was holding the shifter stick to the block came loose. That's when I noticed there should've been spacers or washers to hold the stick solidly to the block. Not sure if all shifters are like that, or mine just needs some washers, or a new shifter would fix my problem?

Thank you,

Yes it should have Nylon spacers.
