LED Parking Lights in Litronics
Well, the right parking light on my litronics just blew out so I have to get a replacement. I have been thinking about putting in white/blue LED's that match the Xenon's hue but I have read that there may be heating issues with the LED's. Has anyone used an LED parking light setup that has lasted?

I have Cree LED's in mine, much brighter than the standard bulbs and other LED's.
LED's run cooler than standards, the only damage from bulb threads I have read were from the main lights. |
The high power LED does generate a fair amount of heat. Not those 12v applied to automotive
Make sure you get a 194 type, TOWER series (360 degree beam angle). The tower series dissipate heat better than those made entirely of plastic. Last a tad longer Lastly don't go more than 1w or it will look kinda weird. LED are stupid bright... careful with that |
I bought the following LED's and they match up with the Litronics quite nice, I have had them in over a year with no issues.

EDIT: Nevermind I just found it. These are really cheap for what they are, thanks for the tip! |
I'm surprised that those bases work. Am I missing something?

The base has pegs / posts that are offset. |

Hello all,
I just wanted to follow up with you on these LED bulbs. I have installed them and I think they look great! I do recommend them. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1407419164.jpg |
Phillips Blue Vision H6W is as easy as it gets
