Boxster with no windshield

i have a fetish for cars with no windshield like the SLR sterling moss... has it been done to a boxster? or what would it look like?? Anyone here good with photoshop?

I can't imagine it'd be good for the car's overall structure since it's also part of the rollover protection system.

Sometimes form and function do not always match.

I'm aware of the lack of safety and newfound requirement for goggles which is why I'd never do it to my car... But maybe someone has been crazy enough out there to do it.

This could be nicely made out of plexyglass for a Boxster ;)

Challenge #2: fitting a flat 16 engine

strip all the trim off the rollbar, remove the side windows, remove the windshield and wipers, remove the sideview mirrors and put some chrome bullets on the fenders, delete the softtop and install an oem tonneau cover ...

The Radium King 01-11-2014 11:10 AM

and perhaps a front bumper cover like this to add to the bumperless brit roadster vibe:

Looks like it's frowning...:(

Or that's the "Carp" edition.

The Radium King 01-11-2014 12:02 PM

yeah, i kinda struggle with that bumper myself. i was trying to take the idea the 'british roadster' direction so it could stay streetable, but i think i like fro's 'sport racer' look a lot better. flat 16 ?!?! mebbe a w12 out of a phaeton?
