Rear Speaker Grille?

My Boxster has the speakers in the little compartment behind both seats, but since I've had the car, the speaker grille on the passenger side has been stuck in the back seat pocket. I've tried multiple times to get it back on, but it seems to be too big to fit back into where it is supposed to be. Anyone else have this problem? It's about the only thing in the car that is not perfect, and while nobody notices it, I'd like to get the grille back in front of the speakers.

You might have more success by taking the whole assembly out, flipping it over and putting the grill back in that way. Use silicon caulk to secure. Watch out because it's messy.

The grills are installed from the inside. Put the top in the service position, and remove the box.

Thanks, that makes sense, I'll have to try that tomorrow.

Hot glue works better and is much cleaner than silicon caulk to hold these in.

Just put it back in- I used shoe goo- I think it will work fine. The only worry I have is that the thin piece of fabric that's supposed to be stuck in the grille was coming off- I got it kind of stuck back in the grille before I glued it back, so hopefully it won't hang off.

Thanks a lot you guys for the help!
