Suspension clicking- what to check?
Hoping someone here can help me figure out a clicking noise. I have the car on jacks and when I push/pull the front wheels I hear a clicking sound. The sound only occurs at the end of the travel for a right turn. It sounds like it is on the right side and closer to the steering column.
Any ideas on what to look for? I did the horizontal shake test for the tie rods but this test seemed fine. Thanks |
Your upper strut bearing may need to be cleaned/packed.
If dirt gets into the bearing which is not sealed it can cause the clicking you describe. To get to the bearing you have to remove the strut. Happy Boxstering Pedro |
Thanks Pedro! I'll be replacing suspension with ROW M030 kit so I'll check it while in there.

Control arms
I just spent weeks on a similar issue. Replaced the control arms.
Good luck |
