I know this is an incredibly old post now but has anyone by any chance got a template available to fit the Porsche letters badge to my trunk lid with a curvature like the way the OP fitted them?

Anyone know where the Emblems came from?

That's a straight template for a Macan or Cayenne. Not sure how it will work for the curved Boxster rear end, but probably fine.


Mine was for a Cayenne, ordered from Suncoast, but that was 6 or 7 years ago.

I didn't use a template, but here are my measurements:

Porsche Letters
 

I decided to keep my Letters the same color of the Boxster S Emblem. Here is how it went. Got the Black Letters and Template in a few days from California. Once primed and painted with 4 coats of base which dries quickly. However I waited 15 minutes between coats. Much later I then applied 4 coats of clear. Once the letters dried overnight they were good to go. Once the letters were in place and the template still taped down, I used a small piece of 2500 wet sandpaper to color sand the face of the letters.

My Letters were for the Panamera, and with the template that came with the letters I was able to get the curve to match the Boxster S emblem.
