I obviously don't have it but I saw a ruby red one that was really sharp

Varies depending on the Porsche ... 986 would be

Zanzibar Red -
Or Seal Gray -http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1384729615.jpg

Mexico Blue, agree with JD on this one, parked by a 996 TT a few months back in Mexico Blue, WOW! eye catching!

Mine's Arctic silver but I totally love the Seal Grey. Rich and understated. But a red interior is so sensuous!

Has to be Jade Green metallic, stock on 356's in the mid-50's. I want to do a backdated 911 in this color someday.

Elegant indeed !

Nice. Color-wise, kinda reminiscent of (or should I say predecessor to...)

Though---deep down----my heart is still with the Grey Seal. "Rich and understated" indeed...

This... Arctic Silver Metallic!

Jade Green metallic: "a thing of beauty" as my old dad used to say. :)

I love the Mexico blue. I have a gray interior and don't think it would be a strong enough contrast. My second favorite is Adtriatic blue, but I think would look alright with the gray interior. Someday, a repaint may be in order... someday.

In addition to the Jade Green metallic I posted above, I see that you and I think alike...

Any color that you would find in a bag of (original) skittles:

Personally I like a gun metal grey, but I think the few porsche's I've seen with it had a custom paint job. With that said the closest will probably be seal grey.

Kenny Boxster 11-19-2013 09:50 AM

It's hard to see any Porsche with a color that looks bad. I love black- when it's clean. :p Very nice palette of colors featured in this thread.

RandallNeighbour 11-19-2013 10:26 AM

It sure ain't silver, that's for sure. B-O-R-I-N-G.

Porsches should be red in my opinion. I'll never own another black one, that's for sure.
