The farthest light to the right...

Furthest?
Most farest?

Looks like a side-rear view of car, with an arrow pointing up from the top storage area.

Never lights up on startup like all the rest. What does this light signify?

According to the Bentley manual, that would be the convertible top warning light.

No, it has an arrow pointing up from the top's storage area. I'll look when I'm at my shop later.

No, I don't think so...that one is on the left.

This one, Tim? It's for the ejection seat

Apparently, it is not used in either US or Canadian models...maybe European?

I had you going in a totally different angle. Something like...

Depending on which direction you are driving, it's the sun.

On a serious note, I have never seen it either

That's the light that tells you your wind delflectors have just detached from the roll bar and are now lying in a ditch damaged beyond all possible repair.

It is your "ROLL-OVER PROTECTION WARNING LIGHT"
Found at least on the 911 Carrera 4 (996) model....(European?)

I've got a ROW spec car and have never seen it on my dash lights or in the handbook.
Of course, you could get that warning light after your IMS bearing goes pop......

I would guess it's for the roll over protection on the 911 cabriolet.

The one all the way to the right in my picture is for the convertible top, though yours may be ordered differently. The picture should represent gauge clusters from all 986's from 1997-2001, IIRC. What year is yours?

Edit: derp...it's right there in your sig

Ok. Farthest right is cruise symbol. Then it is in fact the IMS ejection / you're upside down stupid, light. Small line in door and arrow pointing up.

My tree looks different than the one pictured. Just a lower row, CEL is in the long lower row. No lights up by the gauges in the corners.

Been following this thread and so I've just been out to have a look at my UK speck 2.7 2003 face lift 986 Boxster, and as you can see our dash board lights are slightly different to that one shown above.

I hope this helps in some way as someone mentioned in an earlier post about European speck being different to your USA speck.
Guvs.
