Took it in for inspection but the drive cycle was not complete. The mechanic lifted the front hood to look at the engine (for no reason I can think of). The look on his face was priceless.
I was told I had to drive it 100 miles to complete the drive cycle. Looks like I have more work to do. :D http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1392400996.jpg |

Not a great photo, but one of my favourite cars. |
Love a car with beaded Rain on it....glistening and beautiful.
Some would say, oh no, it got rained on, so now its not worth as much.....just silly considering that every time you wash it, its been "rained" on. Beaded water adds a whole new dimension and its a good thing :) Quote:
Hmmmm, there must be a way to combine ALL our favorite things and get photos. Heres mine, I need to take more pictures. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-a...0/CIMG3364.JPG |
The day after I picked up the car in Germany, on a side road before getting back on the Autobahn towards Stuttgart to visit the mothership. :-)

My favorite pic was taken by a professional photographer at a local Porsche a couple of years ago. It is fun to look at the pic because my car has been under cover in the garage since the beginning of December, and it will likely be there until late March with how the Winter is going so far.

Is that the factory lip spoiler?
|

Yes, it is the OEM lip spoiler designed for the 2004 GT3 996. I bought the AerokitII bumper from a guy that was returning his car to stock before selling it, and it already had this lip spoiler. I have seen a smaller lip spoiler on this bumper as well, but I really like how aggressive this one looks. |

Thanks for sharing that. TO |

BTW, have you considered adding the GT3tek Boxster Spyder rear bumper spoiler? Its a flexible polyurethane and sticks over the current bumper with just a couple of screws. Makes it look current for cheap. |
